Apache Hadoop is a collection of open-source software utilities for reliable, scalable, distributed computing.

The base framework is composed of the following:

• Hadoop Common - libraries and utilities shared by other Hadoop modules
• Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)
• Hadoop YARN - the resource manager and job scheduler
• Hadoop MapReduce - implements the MapReduce programming model
• Hadoop Ozone - Object Store for Hadoop
